Journeys – Manchester

Nice use of projected stills gave all the scenes a hook to hang a sense of place on and soundscapes by Jamie Griffiths gave the show cohesion and pulled in lots of sound references to enhance the times and places explored.

With a delay of less than a fraction of a second, you see the two dancers running through the forest image and then
superimposed on top of the dividing egg. It’s not a recorded image:
it’s live. The effect is magical.
Jaime Griffiths is a) a sensitive photographer b) passionate for
dance c) a cutting edge multi-media artist d) a beautiful soul e)
all of the above.

Wild New Territories – London

This disconnect between sight and sound is neatly exploited by Jamie Griffiths, Diego Samper and Rob Scharein whose collaboratively produced installation introduces the sounds of the Amazon rainforest into this little patch of north London green.
